Homemade rubber band plane
1, material:

A chopstick (not a pair, disposable is best)

Hard-shell paper, cardboard or other hard but light paper. If it's no trouble, you can make two wings or three wings out of rice paper and bamboo strips.

A thin piece of hard plastic or aluminum. (Blunt the edge after cutting to avoid injury)

A length of iron wire (no requirement, just the right hardness)

Rubber band, glue or latex or 502 glue or any other glue that can be stuck.

2. Production

Chopsticks are polished to remove burrs.

Cut off the paper wings, draw equal center lines, and fold them slightly to one side, so that both ends are inclined.

Propeller can be made into Shuang Ye or trilobal according to your own preference. For example, the suggestion of making aluminum plate is Shuang Ye. After cutting out the shape, make an S-shaped twist when looking down, that is, one side at the center is inside and the other side is outside.

Cut three lengths of wire. Two of them are fixed at the front and back of chopsticks, one side is fixed with rubber bands by iron wires, and the other side is left with sufficient length for use.

Fix the finished chicken wings on chopsticks and keep them horizontal. The center of the wings should be about 4/6 of the boundary of chopsticks, so as to avoid the nose from being planted too heavily.

After the third section of iron wire is fixed on the propeller blade, make a small hole in the part of chopsticks where the iron wire is rich, pass the iron wire on the propeller through this hole, and then fix it with a rubber band.

Finally, manually rotate the paddle to apply force and throw horizontally at the elevation of 15 degrees.

Upgrade version:

Fix the small motor in the center of the chopsticks, and add a landing gear on the side of the chopsticks near the paddle, that is, at the 2/8 boundary.

Fix a No.7 battery above the center of the wing, and connect the battery with the motor in series to take off.

(In the upgraded version, it should be noted that the blades need to be bigger and the wings need to be bigger. )

I haven't done it for a long time, so I remember a lot ...
