Amomum villosum, also known as Amomum villosum, is the fruit of Alpinia zingiberensis, a zingiberaceae plant. Herbs are perennial, with flowering from April to June and fruiting from July to10. Pick the fruit when it is ripe, dry it in the sun or dry it at low temperature. Indications: dryness, warming, dispelling cold, eliminating phlegm, stopping malaria, invigorating spleen and warming stomach. Used for cold pain in the heart, fullness in chest and abdomen, intermittent phlegm stagnation, dyspepsia, vomiting and diarrhea.
