When we are young, we always have all kinds of crazy impulses and always come up with many idealistic ideas-those dreams beyond reality, those ambitions beyond ability, and those decisions that we don't want to back down. However, after blood is young, it returns to the dullness of reason, and these concepts disappear with age.
Originated from an impulse in June, I did something crazy in my opinion and participated in a Gobi hiking challenge through crowdfunding. After I came back, I had an idea and organized the theme of this issue to discuss those things about "madness".
How to understand "madness"?
Almost every little friend will mention one word when telling his own understanding of madness: unusual. Crazy is doing something unusual. Crazy can be a trip, a pure love, a drunkenness, or a whim to see a completely unheard-of drama and taste a roadside stall that has never been eaten. These crazy things may be vigorous or plain, but they must be very different from their daily activities.
Some friends mentioned that madness, in some cases, is an impulsive behavior. We often have all kinds of impulses, some of which are suppressed by reason after appearing, and some of which have not been eliminated in our hearts. When the opportunity arises, the impulse becomes action. These actions are usually those crazy things.
What kind of feeling is "crazy"?
A small partner summed up a word: cool.
It's really cool to do crazy things and satisfy your inner impulses.
It has been going smoothly step by step, and I suddenly want to travel. After a long struggle, I finally asked for leave, left my job and went out with my luggage. Cool!
Usually life is dull and routine. At a party, I drank a lot of wine and sang a song in front of everyone, which won applause. Cool!
I've always lived a simple life, and I never spend extravagantly. I happened to see something that was very expensive but I liked it very much. I spent a lot of money to take it home without thinking. Cool!
Although impulse may not always bring good results, at least at that moment, the crazy behavior made because of impulse will bring a refreshing feeling of breaking free.
There is also a feeling when I am crazy, that is, I have re-recognized myself. We have been suppressed by reality and reason for so long that sometimes our personality is covered up and we don't even know what kind of person we are. After being crazy, I realized that I had such a character and idea again.
Think about it carefully, those things that can lead us to do some crazy things must have touched our hearts at a certain moment, which may be inner desire, inner dissatisfaction or inner fragility. These contact points, if we dig deep, can reveal a lot of things we usually hide under the table.
After Crazy, will you regret it?
Fortunately, according to my friend's feedback, I didn't feel very regretful after doing something crazy, but I was glad that I didn't give up my impulsive thoughts and made such a crazy move.
I forgot which book I wrote it in, and one sentence impressed me deeply: I recalled the past, but I didn't leave any good memories because I was "timid".
Someone told me that when I was in college, in order to chase a favorite object, I did not hesitate to cut my hair because of the other person's words. Some people recalled that in order to attend their best friend's wedding, they went to Wan Li for leave to return home. Although some people's final results are not so ideal, in retrospect, I still don't regret the choices made at that time.
How to treat the relationship between crazy behavior and stable life?
There is a question worth discussing: is it crazy in another sense to live a stable life and do things in your own way? This problem dates back to the first time we discussed the definition of "madness". Crazy is not about doing something earth-shattering, but whether you feel the need to do it with some impulse. As Lao Luo said, although I didn't feel crazy when I was doing something, I just wanted to do it, but after a while, looking back, these things continued to be connected in series, as if they had unconsciously become something that looked a little crazy.
According to your own ideas, the process of achieving your goals bit by bit is sometimes crazy. Madness is more of an impulsive state of mind than a state of being in the process.
Madness represents youth and the possibility of tossing about life. There are many things you have to be a little crazy to do. Although there was a lot of madness, most of them ended in failure. Crazy, may be a whim at that time, may also be a contest with others, or be forced to help. ....
You don't have to do something earth-shattering or something that others can't do to be crazy. It's crazy enough to do what you can't do. If you are bound by the knowledge you give yourself, you will only repeat what happened before for the rest of your life.
"I don't have time to be young seriously. When I understand, I can only choose to grow old seriously. " Whether crazy or stable, as long as you live seriously and enjoy life, it is the greatest meaning of life.
