Field Frog
The real Field Frog is actually the Tiger Frog, which is commonly known as Water Frog, Field Frog, Green Frog, Mud Frog, and Shrimp Toad. Because the tiger frog and the black spotted frog are very similar, so the field fowl in the southern population, also became the name of the frog. And there are about 4 subspecies in the genus Tiger Frog, 1 species each in China and Thailand, i.e. Chinese Tiger Frog and Thai Tiger Frog.
The Chinese tiger frog has a wide range of distribution, in China, Henan, Shaanxi, Sichuan, Yunnan, Guizhou, Hubei, Anhui, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Hunan, Fujian, Taiwan, Guangdong, Hainan, Guangxi and Hong Kong, etc., and is also found in Burma, Thailand, Vietnam and Malaysia.
