"Red Sorghum" is adapted from China's first Nobel Prize-winning novelist Mo Yan's "The Red Sorghum Family," directed by Zheng Xiaolong and starring Zhou Xun, Zhu Yawen , Huang Xuan, Qin Hailu and Yu Rongguang. The drama tells the story of a modern legendary epic masterpiece about love and hate, conquering and being conquered, full of vitality, written by Jiu'er in the early 1930s in the life-affirming land of Gaomi, Shandong Province.
