The eight major scenic spots in Chaozhou are: Fengtaiyu, Longqiu Pagoda, beige Buddhist lanterns, oak trees in the Han Temple, spring rise on Xiang Bridge, crocodiles crossing the autumn wind, West Lake fishing rafts, and ancient pines in Jinshan. Chaozhou, located in the easternmost part of Guangdong Province, in the middle and lower reaches of the Han River, is a famous cultural city with a long history. It has beautiful mountains and rivers, outstanding people, and many places of interest. It is known as "Zoulu on the seaside" and "a country famous for its mountains and seas." Xiangqiao Zhangchun Scenic Area is located in Chaozhou Guangji Bridge, one of the four ancient bridges in China. Guangji Bridge was built in the Song Dynasty. It was originally just a floating bridge. After more than 200 years of changes, the unique style of "Eighteen Shuttles and Twenty-Four Continents" of the Ming Dynasty was formed. Chaozhou folk song: "Chaozhou Xiang Bridge is so romantic, with 18 shuttles on 24 continents, 24 terraces on 24 floors, and two flying cows" sings the historical style of Guangji Bridge. Longqiu Pagoda This is a stone tower built in the Song Dynasty, located on a small sandbank in Hanjiang River in northern Chaozhou. There are dense trees under the tower, the temple is quiet, and the tower is surrounded by living springs, hence the name "Dragon Tower". Here, during the day, male and female believers burn incense and worship Buddha. At night, they sit on boats and drink tea to express their feelings. They are leisurely and happy. Phoenix Rain Phoenix Rain Scenic Area is located at Phoenix Terrace at the northern end of Phoenix Island in the southern suburbs of Chaozhou City. It is the main building of Phoenix Island Park. The summer rain here is sunny and unpredictable, forming a beautiful rain scene, so the scenic spot is called "Phoenix Rain". In the rainy season, the Phoenix Tower is hazy with light smoke. Looking at Guangji Bridge and traffic from a distance, it is as romantic as a dream or a fairyland. Buddha Lighthouse Beige Scenic Area is the general name for a group of pavilions and pavilions east of Jinshan Mountain in Chaozhou. First built in the Song Dynasty and formed in the Ming Dynasty, the entire scenic spot is surrounded by mountains and rivers, and is well-proportioned and majestic from bottom to top. Jinshan Ancient Pines Jinshan stands on the bank of the Han River in the north of the city, like a kettle. It is the back pillow of the ancient city of Chaozhou. It forms three barriers with Hulu Mountain to the west and Bijia Mountain to the east. Jinshan ancient pines are pines and cypresses planted by Chaozhou people to commemorate Ma Fa, the anti-Japanese war hero of the Song Dynasty, and to remember Ma Fa's noble character.
