China has a clear definition of alkaline water. According to the national standard GB/T14157-1993 >; According to the definition given in section 5.1.10.9-5.1.1,water with a PH lower than 6.4 is called acidic water, water with a PH between 6.5 and 8.0 is called neutral water, and water with a PH higher than 8.0 is called alkaline water.
Although PH7.0 is neutral in general chemistry, below PH7.0 it can be called acidic and above PH 7.0 it can be called alkaline, but from the above definition, alkaline water and alkaline water are two different things. If the PH is only 7.5, although the pH is slightly higher than 7.0, it can only be called neutral water.
