Let me tell you the simplest one.
Scallion-flavored taro:
Boil the taro until raw (add salt. 8 cents). fish out.
Put a little oil in a dry pan. Add ginger. Dried chilies. A few peppercorns. When fragrant, add the taro. Add some more stock (not too much) and bring to a boil.
Add plenty of green onions. Add a little bit of water starch (add some MSG in it). That's OK. !
