The origin of Tiramisu can be traced back to17th century, a dessert in northwest Italy called Zuppa del Duca or Zuppa Inglese.
The real Tiramisu began to appear in the northwest of Venice, Italy in the 1960s. Locals use mascarpone cheese as the main material, and then use lady finger instead of sponge cake as a traditional dessert, adding coffee, cocoa powder and other elements.
