1, uncut
The uncut cantaloupe should be preserved for a long time. It can be stored in a ventilated and cool place for about a week, but the cantaloupe must be fresh. If the cantaloupe bought home is not fresh, it may rot in three or four days.
2. After incision
Cut cantaloupe can be stored in the refrigerator for up to two days in summer, and it may go bad in one day at room temperature. Therefore, it is best to wrap the cantaloupe with plastic wrap, cut it and put it in the refrigerator, and the surface layer can be peeled off without plastic wrap before eating.
