What is the best place to go to Changsha on the first weekend?
Two years ago, my sister and I traveled to Changsha. According to my experience, I personally recommend orange island scenic spot and Yuelu Mountain in Yuelu District, both of which are famous scenic spots in Changsha. Here are some strategies for your reference ~

I. Juzizhou Scenic Area

Orange Island is a national 5A-level tourist attraction with the shape of Long Island, which is one of the important scenic spots in Changsha. Known as "the first island in China". There are Mao Zedong youth art sculptures, rooftops and other scenic spots in Orange Island. The historical record of Orange Island was born in the second year of Yongxing of Jinhui Emperor (305), which was formed by turbulent alluvial and sand accumulation. Young Mao Zedong wrote the famous "Qinyuanchun" in Orange Island, Changsha.

1, a small train that must punch in?

The journey of Orange Island is really long. Friends who don't have enough time must take a small train? Admission to 40 yuan/person, including round trip, half price for students! Remember to bring your student ID card! Got on the train? You can take pictures, super film, but pay attention to safety.

2. take pictures of grandpa Mao's statue?

There are really many people taking photos with Mao Zedong. When no one was around, they immediately ran to take pictures, leaving the process of leaving the people next to them. You can also discuss it with people around you and let you have an injection first.

Note: You can look at the statue carefully, and you will feel super shocked!

3. street shooting?

Taking photos of streets in Orange Island is super beautiful. Click the camera and you can turn your head. If it is autumn, you can also pick up the maple leaf next to the tree as a prop!

4. See Xiangjiang River?

If you walk in front of Orange Island, you can see Xiangjiang River, high-rise buildings and occasionally meet passing ships. What if it happens to be in the sunset? Time, I have enjoyed the sunset glow!

Second, Yuelu Mountain.

Yuelu Mountain is also a national 5A-level tourist attraction, named after "Nanyue is 800 Li, headed by geese, and Yuelu Mountain is enough" in Liu Song's Annals of Nanyue in the Southern and Northern Dynasties. There are nearly 100 scenic spots in Yuelu Mountain, such as Qingfeng Gorge, Aiwan Pavilion, the true face of Lushan Mountain, Baihequan, Caie Tomb, Huangxing Tomb, Wang Yu Monument, Yunlu Palace and Yuelu Academy, which are fascinating everywhere.

It takes about 3 hours to walk all the way to see the whole journey about 6km. Generally speaking, you can turn around in half a day.

Don't miss the punch-in attractions:

Sightseeing gallery

When you climb here, congratulations, you have reached the highest peak of Yuelu Mountain, overlooking Xiangjiang River and Changsha City. This is also the place where dining is concentrated on Yuelu Mountain. You can have a cup of tea at the top of the mountain and stop to have a rest.

Gulushan temple

The Western Jin Temple on the mountainside has a history of 1700 years. Between Baihequan and Qingfeng Gorge, the monument of Lushan Temple in this ancient temple is known as "the first scene of Huxiang" and was written by Li Yong, a great calligrapher during the Kaiyuan period of the Tang Dynasty. There is also a pagoda in Sui Dynasty next to the temple, dedicated to the Buddhist relics brought by Indian monks at that time.

Love dusk pavilion on Yuelu Mountain

The love night pavilion, which is "parking in the maple forest late and the frost leaves are red in February", may be the most popular attraction for tourists to take pictures and punch in. The pavilion is built by the mountains and waters, and its reflection is like flying in the blue waves.

Yuelu academy

As one of the oldest universities in the world, Yuelu Academy is going anyway. Every monument, tile, tree and leaf in the academy seems to shine with humanistic light in time.

Travel tips:

There are cable cars and sightseeing bus on the mountain. Under normal circumstances, there is not much problem with the body. It is recommended to climb the mountain on foot, but it is not difficult at all.

There are also snack bars, drink shops and grocery stores on the mountain. You can take a bottle of water up the mountain, and other dry food can be dispensed with. ?

Coming out of the south gate are Hunan University and Snack Street, which are very lively and can be eaten all the way. ?

It is best to wear comfortable sports shoes, pay attention to heatstroke prevention and sun protection in hot weather, and there will be more mosquitoes on the mountain.
