Orange Island is a national 5A-level tourist attraction with the shape of Long Island, which is one of the important scenic spots in Changsha. Known as "the first island in China". There are Mao Zedong youth art sculptures, rooftops and other scenic spots in Orange Island. The historical record of Orange Island was born in the second year of Yongxing of Jinhui Emperor (305), which was formed by turbulent alluvial and sand accumulation. Young Mao Zedong wrote the famous "Qinyuanchun" in Orange Island, Changsha.

Sightseeing gallery
When you climb here, congratulations, you have reached the highest peak of Yuelu Mountain, overlooking Xiangjiang River and Changsha City. This is also the place where dining is concentrated on Yuelu Mountain. You can have a cup of tea at the top of the mountain and stop to have a rest.
Gulushan temple
The Western Jin Temple on the mountainside has a history of 1700 years. Between Baihequan and Qingfeng Gorge, the monument of Lushan Temple in this ancient temple is known as "the first scene of Huxiang" and was written by Li Yong, a great calligrapher during the Kaiyuan period of the Tang Dynasty. There is also a pagoda in Sui Dynasty next to the temple, dedicated to the Buddhist relics brought by Indian monks at that time.
Love dusk pavilion on Yuelu Mountain
The love night pavilion, which is "parking in the maple forest late and the frost leaves are red in February", may be the most popular attraction for tourists to take pictures and punch in. The pavilion is built by the mountains and waters, and its reflection is like flying in the blue waves.
Yuelu academy
As one of the oldest universities in the world, Yuelu Academy is going anyway. Every monument, tile, tree and leaf in the academy seems to shine with humanistic light in time.
Travel tips:
There are cable cars and sightseeing bus on the mountain. Under normal circumstances, there is not much problem with the body. It is recommended to climb the mountain on foot, but it is not difficult at all.
There are also snack bars, drink shops and grocery stores on the mountain. You can take a bottle of water up the mountain, and other dry food can be dispensed with. ?
Coming out of the south gate are Hunan University and Snack Street, which are very lively and can be eaten all the way. ?
