Under the direct leadership of the Inner Mongolia Sports Bureau and the operational guidance of the Sports Lottery Management Center of the State Sports Bureau, the Sports Lottery Management Center of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region has formulated measures for the management of sports lottery in the whole region in accordance with relevant state regulations, and is responsible for the guidance, supervision and inspection of sports lottery sales in the whole region, following the principle of "openness, fairness and justice", raising public welfare funds and promoting the development of social sports and other public welfare undertakings. Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Sports Lottery Management Center has more than 2,600 computer sports lottery sales outlets in 12 allied cities and 2 cities with separate plans. In 2007, the center passed the ISO900 1∶2000 quality management system certification, and was rated as an excellent sports lottery sales unit by the Sports Lottery Management Center of the State Sports General Administration for several consecutive years. In 2007, it was rated as "Chengxin Tax Paying Enterprise" by Inner Mongolia Local Taxation Bureau.
Since the listing of computer sports lottery in 2002, up to the beginning of June 2008, the center has issued more than 2.8 billion yuan of sports lottery tickets and raised 65.438+0.5 billion yuan of public welfare funds, of which 875 million yuan was issued in early June 2008. The public welfare fund raised by the sports lottery is not only used for the Olympic glory and the national fitness program, but also widely used for the special fund for the disabled in China, rural medical assistance, Red Cross humanitarian assistance, the "Snow Carbon Project" to assist sports facilities in the west, the construction and maintenance of off-campus activity places for young students, the rescue of heroic orphans, and cultural going to the countryside.
Sports lottery has also promoted the development of advertising media, news printing, telecommunications and other related industries, and made positive contributions to the economic development and social stability in this region.
