The difference between sweetened and plain condensed milk is mainly reflected in three aspects:
1, in terms of raw materials, sweetened condensed milk needs to add sixteen to seventeen percent sucrose, while the plain condensed milk does not add sucrose.
2, in the production process, sweetened condensed milk after canning is not sterilized, relying on a sufficient concentration of sucrose caused by the osmotic pressure to inhibit the reproduction of microorganisms in the milk residue, to prevent the product from deteriorating, while the original condensed milk canned after sterilization.
3, in terms of nutrients, sweetened condensed milk due to high temperature treatment, nutrients have not been destroyed, while the original flavor of condensed milk sterilized by high temperature, vitamin loss, but to be added, its nutritional value is almost the same as the fresh cow's milk, and the light condensed milk by high temperature treatment to become a soft curdled milk, easy to digest.
