At present, the cause of pineapple black heart disease is not very clear, but most scholars believe that it is a physiological disorder caused by low temperature. Low temperature below 22~25℃ can cause the disease, but it does not occur above 25℃. Some foreign scholars believe that the sensitivity of pineapple to black heart disease began in the field, and the environment after harvest only strengthened this sensitivity. Low temperature in the field may cause some changes in metabolism, resulting in a Precursor that leads to "black heart", which will be stored and transported at low temperature (4~8℃) after harvest, thus promoting the accumulation of the precursor. If it is kept at a high temperature of 2℃ for 7 days, the precursor will turn into poison, leading to "black heart". However, if we continue to store at low temperature, the precursor will stop synthesizing and turn into non-toxic compounds. This poison may be a brown phenolate compound. Tan Xingjie and others in China (1989) thought that gibberellin (GA3) was the factor inducing pineapple black heart disease besides low temperature.
control methods:
(1) select disease-resistant varieties. At present, there are not many varieties planted, and there are even fewer disease-resistant varieties. Weinanyuan No.5 is a fresh food species with good resistance, but its fruit shape is a little small, so it is difficult to popularize.
(2) cultivation control. Rational fertilization: apply sufficient base fertilizer, mainly soil miscellaneous fertilizer, increase phosphorus and potassium fertilizer, and control the amount of nitrogen fertilizer. The ratio of common nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium is 3∶1∶2. Topdressing should be done early to avoid centralized application in the fruit-bearing period; Strictly control the concentration of gibberellin and naphthylacetic acid in promoting fruit; During the fruit growth period, some calcium fertilizers such as calcium chloride should be applied appropriately.
(3) Appropriate harvesting and timely processing. (4) scientific storage and transportation.
