Capsicum anthracnose, commonly known as verticillium and verticillium, is a disease that occurs on chili peppers and is caused by infestation of prickly discospores and long round discospores. Its prevention and control can be carried out from the reasonable crop rotation, seed disinfection, strengthening management, spraying control and other aspects.
1, reasonable crop rotation. The implementation of the melon, beans and vegetables more than 2 years of crop rotation.
2, seed disinfection. Seeds are first soaked in water for 6 to 12 hours, then 1% copper sulfate solution for 5 minutes, fish out and then wash with water, and then mixed with a small amount of cooked lime powder or grass ash germination. You can also use hot water to scald the seeds, 55 ℃ soak 30 minutes, cooled with cold water and then dried to sow.
3, strengthen management. The use of high ridges and film cultivation, to avoid flooding, there is water timely drainage; reasonable ventilation, to avoid high temperature and high humidity; appropriate application of phosphorus and potassium fertilizer, to improve plant resistance; timely removal of diseased fruits, leaves and stumps, to reduce the source of bacteria.
4, spray control. At the beginning of the disease, you can use 65% diclofenac zinc wettable powder 500 times liquid, or 70% diclofenac manganese zinc wettable powder 400 times liquid, or 25% pyrimethanil suspension 1200 times liquid, or 40% polysulfide suspension 400 times liquid, or 75% Chlorothalonil wettable powder 600 times liquid. Spray every 7 to 10 days, 2 to 3 times in a row.
Capsicum anthracnose symptoms:
Mainly affects nearly ripe capsicum fruits. Diseased fruit first appeared wet, brown oval or irregular-shaped spots, slightly sunken, slightly elevated concentric whorls, spot surface appeared obvious ring-shaped orange-red dots, and then changed to black dots. When the humidity is high, a light pink granular sticky substance is spilled, which is the conidium of the pathogen.
When dry, the diseased part of the dry shrinkage thinning into a paper-like and easy to rupture. Leaf disease occurs in the old mature leaves, spot initially watery, expanding brown irregular shape, the center of the spot grayish white, also produced a whorled arrangement of small black granular dots, when the disease is severe, the leaves are easy to dry and fall off. Stem and fruiting peduncle infected, irregular short strip-shaped depressed brown spots, dry epidermis easy to rupture.
