West Gate
Wuzhen West Gate has been repaired and is now open to the public. You have to take a ferry to enter Xizha. Xizha consists of 12 small islands, which are connected in series by more than 60 small bridges. The river density and the number of stone bridges are the highest in China. There are several handmade things worth seeing in Xizha, such as handmade sauce workshops, raw iron pots, silk and so on. The hotels and homestays in Xizha are also very special. Jiangnan baichuangguan
Jiangnan Hundred Beds Museum is the first museum in China that specializes in collecting and exhibiting ancient beds in the south of the Yangtze River. It is located at No.210, Wuzhen East Street, with an area of about 1200 square meters, and contains dozens of famous ancient beds in the south of the Yangtze River. This exhibition is the epitome of China's bed culture, with the luxury of nobles and the frugality of ordinary people.
Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces
Jiangsu-Zhejiang Branch Office was called Zhejiang Branch Office in Ming Dynasty, which is a unique government organ in Wuzhen history. He is in charge of patrolling salt and catching thieves, and also manages local word litigation, commonly known as Erfu Yamen. It lasted more than 370 years from its establishment in Jiajing period of Ming Dynasty to its revocation in the early Republic of China. Jiangnan folk-custom museum
The Jin family in Dongzha used to be rich here, but today their residence has made a record of life in the south of the Yangtze River. Here, the folk customs of Wuzhen from the late Qing Dynasty to the Republic of China, such as birthday celebration etiquette, marriage and childbearing customs and the season of the New Year, are displayed. Wonderful wax figures have created a drama of weddings, funerals and weddings. The clothing and customs hall shows the folk dress customs of Jiangnan more than a hundred years ago by different means such as objects, wax figures and photos, and the festival hall adopts the different living customs of Wuzhen people in different solar terms in a year. The wedding custom hall takes the wedding hall as the center, and displays the lively scene of the wedding through newcomers, matchmakers, parents and other figures, sedan chairs, dowry and other objects; The theme of Shousu Hall is the birthday of the elderly, and the Chinese tradition of respecting the elderly is displayed through the auspicious scene of the hall and the unique birthday items such as calligraphy and painting, birthday cake, birthday peach and birthday noodles.
Jiangnan woodcarving exhibition hall
It used to be the mansion of the Xu family in Dongzha, also known as Baihua Hall, which is famous for its exquisite wood carving. The woodcarvings in the Woodcarving Museum are rich in materials, all of which depict the folk customs with local characteristics in the south of the Yangtze River with simple style and exquisite expression.
Yuliuliang coin house
Yu Liuliang, a native of Wuzhen, is a big coin collector. He has painstakingly collected coins for 40 years and has nearly 26,000 kinds of coins from more than 230 countries and regions in the world. All the exhibits in the coin museum in batches are the fine works collected by Mr. Yu for decades.
Maodun former residence
Mao Dun's former residence is the only national key cultural relics protection unit in China in Jiaxing. It is located at Guanqian Street 17 on the east side of the river in Wuzhen, with four bays, two entrances and two floors, facing south, with a total area of 450 square meters. The former residence is divided into two units, East and West, which was purchased by Mao Dun's great-grandfather twice. The west room of the old house facing the street is Mao Dun's home school. The interior layout of the former residence is simple, but it exudes the unique Jing Ya flavor of the Shenyang family.

There is a pavilion on the riverside in front of Lizhi Academy, named Wenchang Pavilion. Between the academy and the pavilion, there is only a wide Guanqian Street. In the old days, when scholars went to Wenchang Pavilion, they usually came by boat accompanied by servants. The boat is moored by your river port, and the scholars go upstairs, while the servants sit and wait on the benches on both sides of the aisle. As a part of Mao Dun Memorial Hall, Lizhi Academy will be restored as it is, and Wenchang Pavilion will also reproduce the charm of flying eaves and waves.
Ancient stage
The stage of Xiuzhen Temple is an accessory building of Taoist Temple. It was built in the 14th year of Qing Qianlong (1749), and it has been damaged as often as Xiuzhen Temple, but it has been maintained to this day since the renovation in 19 19. Now, the stage has been restored to its former lively scene. Every day from 8: 00 a.m. to 10 p.m., there are performances, which are Tongxiang Flower Drum Opera.
