From Euphorbia L., a plant of Euphorbia of Euphorbiaceae, with stems and leaves (juice removed); Liquid juice (white liquid flowing out of stems and leaves) is used as medicine. It can be collected all year round, mostly for fresh use.
Bitter and cold in nature. Toxic.
Functional indication
Stems and leaves: detumescence, detoxification and antidiarrheal. For acute gastroenteritis, malaria, traumatic swelling and pain.
Juice: diarrhea, expelling water and relieving itching. Used for ascites due to liver cirrhosis and tinea.
dosage
Acute gastroenteritis: fresh stems1~ 2, peeled and chopped, or 7 pieces of fresh leaves are removed from the head and tail, and the juice is drained. Add rice 5 yuan to fry until brown, and then decoct in two bowls of water.
Malaria: the stem heart is cut into soybeans, wrapped in longan meat or capsules, and swallowed 5 hours before the attack;
Traumatic swelling and pain: fresh stems 1 2 chopped and fried black, and half boiled with water and wine.
Ascites due to liver cirrhosis: Take juice and flour as pills, such as mung bean, and take1~ 2 pills each time, with diarrhea as the degree, which is forbidden for pregnant women.
Dermatophytosis: Rub the affected area with liquid.
Remarks (1) This product is poisonous! Must be fried with rice before oral administration; If the skin comes into contact with sap, it can cause inflammation and blisters; If the sap enters the eyes, it can cause blindness. Eating a small amount by mistake causes severe diarrhea. Eating a large amount by mistake will cause oral mucosa, vomiting, dizziness, coma, muscle tremor, etc. Rescue method: skin contact with liquid juice should be immediately washed with water or given painkillers. People who eat by mistake should pay attention to the protection and cleanliness of the mouth, intravenous injection of glucose saline, heat preservation, injection of stimulants and so on.
