The Mid-Autumn Festival is coming soon, and eating mooncakes is indispensable. Today I will share with you how to use an electric baking pan to make a delicious mooncake. If you love food the most, you can come and see how it is actually made. Prepare food in advance: flour, soda, vegetable oil, white sugar, brown sugar, sesame seeds, crushed peanuts. Pour more than 500 grams of flour into a basin, add more than two grams of soda, mix well, and add a little more boiled flour. 150 grams of oil, stir well with a shovel so that the wheat flour and oil are fully integrated. Next, pour 200 grams of cold water into the pot, add 100 grams of white sugar, stir over low heat until the sugar melts, turn off the heat and let cool for three minutes.
Then pour in the flour, stir while pouring, finally knead into a ball and cover, let it rest for half an hour, and knead the dough once or twice in the middle. On the day of proofing, let's make a five-nut stuffing. Pour three spoons of brown sugar, a small spoon of wheat flour, most of the white sesame seeds, a little less crushed peanuts, and a little bit of wine into the plate. Fresh, stir well, and the filling is completed. After the dough has risen, move it immediately to the stone board without kneading it. Arrange it into a long strip, cut it into equal-sized dough balls, and roll them all into rings. Take a piece of dough and knead it into a dough shape with a slightly thinner edge and a slightly thicker middle. Put the five-nut filling in these small pockets. Squeeze your palms to form a round shape and place it in the dough. in a fresh-keeping bag to avoid blow-drying. After everything is wrapped, take out one green embryo, arrange it, and flatten it immediately. Use a rolling pin to slightly roll out the uneven areas.
Then use a wooden comb to press out a rice shape on the chaotic skin, and put a red dot in the center to make it more beautiful. In this way, the mooncake embryo is completed. Preheat the electric baking pan without oiling, put in the prepared mooncake embryo, and brush a thin layer of oil on the surface of the embryo to lock in the moisture inside. Fry slowly over medium heat until the bottom of the mooncake is slightly discolored. Flip over and cook slowly over medium heat again. Flip a few more times until both sides are golden and ready to serve. It's very beautiful. You can easily make mooncakes at home. It's cheap, affordable and beautiful. If you disassemble one and look at the inside, you will see that the outer skin is slightly crispy and the inside is rich in five-nut filling, which is very delicious. If you like it, save it and make it. See you in the next issue.
