Some people say that he flew to the sky on the eighth day of August during the reign of Emperor Zhongzong of the Tang Dynasty.
6. Lan Caihe: Among the Eight Immortals, there is a cynical, crazy and begging Taoist immortal named Lan Caihe. There is also a legend that Lan Caihe was born as a barefoot immortal and traveled around the world. He has been seen in childhood and old age, and his appearance remains the same. Later, he was singing and getting drunk in Haoliang Restaurant. The sound of clouds and cranes suddenly rose up into the clouds. He threw down his boots, shirt, belt and board, and walked away slowly.

Later, when he crossed the Yellow River without boat fare, he used it as a mortgage. He happened to meet Lu Dongbin traveling with him, so he became enlightened and became one of the "Eight Immortals".
