The character in the center with six tentacles on his head is the Marvel X-Men's Krakoa, an alien life-form and island whose body parts are shaped like a small hill, made of green plants, and can grow six tentacles. The Kraken first appeared in the 1975 comic book Giant-Size X-Men #1, and has since made several appearances in the X-Men comic book series. In the Marvel Universe, the Kraken is depicted as an extremely powerful life form with strong self-healing abilities and the ability to control plant life, as well as the ability to absorb and transform large amounts of energy.
