Clearing heat and promoting diuresis; Yellowing. Indications: jaundice; Poor urination; Wet sores, itching, etc. Pharmacological research is beneficial to gallbladder, liver protection, antipyretic, anti-inflammatory, blood lipid lowering, blood pressure lowering and crown expansion. Of course, this is only a study of western medicine extracting ingredients from Herba Artemisiae Scopariae, and the effect in clinical application is not easy to judge.
The toxicity of Chen Su is central inhibition, which is manifested as drowsiness and salivation. Excessive wormwood can lead to dizziness, nausea, diarrhea, epigastric discomfort, acute hepatobiliary injury and arrhythmia. However, the therapeutic dose of Herba Artemisiae Scopariae generally does not cause serious damage.
The role of Herba Artemisiae Scopariae:
Herba Artemisiae Scopariae has remarkable liver protection effect, and has remarkable curative effect on hepatitis A, hepatitis B and icteric hepatitis. It is beneficial to gallbladder, promotes bile secretion, increases bile acid and bilirubin excretion, increases coronary blood flow, improves microcirculation, and has the effects of lowering blood pressure, reducing blood lipid, anticoagulation, diuresis, relieving fever and asthma, expelling ascaris, and inhibiting various skin pathogenic fungi and bacteria.
1, cholagogic effect
Chen Yin Decoction, Chen Yin Gardenia Decoction, Yinchenhao Decoction (the ratio of Chen Yin, Gardenia and rhubarb is 3: 1.5: 1) and their alcohol extracts all promote bile secretion in rats, but they are not obvious enough. Chen Yin decoction only slightly reduced the gallbladder contraction of normal people (X-ray examination), and the volume change was not significant.
The water extract and refined concentrated extract of Herba Artemisiae Scopariae (with or without volatile oil) have obvious cholagogic effect on dogs with acute gallbladder intubation and chronic gallbladder fistula. It is speculated that the effective components may be water and alcohol-soluble substances, and the role of volatile sleeve is suspicious or weak. However, it has also been reported that the volatile oil of Nanjing Artemisia capillaris has beneficial gallbladder effect on guinea pigs.
2. Effect on experimental hepatitis
Yinchenhao Decoction, Yinchenhao Decoction and Gardenia Dahuang Decoction can reduce the mortality of mice with hepatitis induced by carbon tetrachloride. The water extract and refined concentrated extract of Artemisia capillaris have more obvious cholagogic effect on dogs with carbon tetrachloride-induced hepatitis than normal dogs. Yinchenhao decoction and volatile oil have no effect on serum transaminase in rabbits with hepatitis induced by carbon tetrachloride, but the latter can increase the food intake of rabbits with hepatitis, but it has no effect on improving the mortality and hepatocyte lesions of mice with viral hepatitis.
3, antipyretic and antibacterial effects
Yinchenhao decoction and wormwood extract have antipyretic effects on artificial fever in rabbits. The volatile oils of Artemisia capillaris, Artemisia tridentata and Artemisia neoformans have obvious inhibitory effects on Staphylococcus aureus in vitro, and also have certain inhibitory effects on Shigella, hemolytic streptococcus, diplococcus pneumoniae, diphtheria, bovine and human tuberculosis. The volatile oil of Artemisia capillaris can inhibit the growth of skin pathogenic fungi in vitro, and its antifungal effective component is Artemisia capillaris.
4, antihypertensive effect
Both the water and refined extract of Herba Artemisiae Scopariae have antihypertensive effect. Intravenous injection and duodenal administration of 6,7-dimethoxycoumarin have hypotensive effects on rats, cats, rabbits and dogs, which may be caused by vasodilation of central and visceral vessels. Coronary flow in isolated rabbits with ventricular fibrillation increased significantly, and rhythmic contraction resumed. Electrocardiogram observation of cats and rabbits. Transient atrioventricular block and indoor block may occur.
5, diuretic effect
The water extract, refined concentrated extract and 6,7-dimethoxycoumarin of Herba Artemisiae Scopariae have diuretic effects on dogs. The volatile oil of Artemisia capillaris can increase the urine volume of rabbits with toxic hepatitis and make the urine color change from yellow to clear.
6. Other functions
3 g/kg Chen Yin decoction can reduce serum cholesterol and β -lipoprotein in experimental atherosclerotic rabbits after 2 ~ 3 weeks, and the β/γ ratio is lower than that of the control group, but the C/P value is higher than that of the control group, which shows protective effect on aortic arch lesions and visceral lipomatosis.
Yinchenhao decoction has the effect of anti-Ehrlich ascites carcinoma in vitro, and it is only effective in mice inoculated with Ehrlich ascites carcinoma. Artemisia capillaris oil emulsion can cause seizures in mice, and its action site is in the cerebral cortex.
