The method of making a shrimp hook is as follows:
Material preparation: thin copper wire, acupuncture needle, luminous light, thin hose, needle-nose pliers, and lighter.
1. Pass the thin copper wire through the ring handle of the acupuncture needle and fold it in half.
2. Put the luminous bead into the acupuncture needle, and pass the thin copper wire together to the ring handle.
3. Thread the thin hose through the thin copper wire for protection and beauty.
4. Use needle-nose pliers to loop the excess thin copper wire so that it can better grip the lead and make it stable.
5. Clamp and bite the lead, and then use needle-nosed pliers to clamp and fix it hard. Once it is placed, it will become a horizontal pattern. Then, change the angle and clamp it twice to form a grid pattern, which is much more beautiful.
6. Thread a thick hose onto the handle of the acupuncture needle. This serves to thicken the hook handle. It is too thin to hold with your hands.
7. Insert the heat shrink tube into the acupuncture thick hose and the thin copper wire hose at the same time, wrap them together and heat and shrink them with a lighter.
8. Use needle-nose pliers to bend the hook handle at an angle of 80 to 90 degrees, as shown in the picture.
9. The last step is to use needle-nose pliers to bend the needle tip upward into a hook shape, 120 degrees to 140 degrees.
Notes on shrimp fishing:
Choose to fish on the edge of the pond, where there is more oxygen. Because shrimps like to migrate, they will stay and linger when they encounter the wall of the pool. In addition, there is sufficient oxygen, so shrimps like to stay. Shrimps like to swarm. If you catch a shrimp at a fishing spot, continue to stick to it. After ten or twenty minutes there was still no movement, then the position was moved.
Some shrimp farms charge by the hour, from 1 hour to 10 hours. It is up to the customer to choose. The longer the time, the cheaper it is. You can’t use it all at once, and the remaining time can be used next time. .
The first is the shrimp rod. There are long and short ones, the longest is 3 meters and the shortest is only 1 meter. There are soft and hard. The advantage of soft is that it has good elasticity and can effectively buffer the momentum of large shrimps. The advantage of being hard is that it can bounce shrimps powerfully and lift shrimps quickly.
It is recommended to buy shrimp hooks of better quality and tie them yourself. When tying, add a small piece of plastic tube to the end of the hook to prevent the fishing line from tangling and ensure that the shrimp hook stands vertically, increasing the chance of catching shrimp.
No matter what bait is used, it should be small but not large. It is enough to be as big as a mung bean and can be hung on the tip of the hook. When hanging bait, the hook tip should be exposed a little, so that the shrimp will eat the hook tip first when eating bait. Shrimp cannot open its mouth as wide as fish, so the bait is too large for it to eat.
