Dong 'e Ejiao is a treasure of traditional medicine in China, and it is also the most representative Chinese medicine. Ejiao has a history of 3,000 years, and its cultural heritage is extremely rich. It was first recorded in Shennong Herbal Classic.
Dong 'e Ejiao has been a royal tribute from the Han and Tang Dynasties to the Ming and Qing Dynasties. It has been listed as the "top grade" in materia medica in all previous dynasties and is known as the "holy medicine". Thousands of years of clinical and modern scientific experiments have proved that Dong 'e Ejiao has multiple effects of invigorating qi and nourishing blood, nourishing yin and moistening dryness, and is the first choice for treating blood deficiency in traditional Chinese medicine. The first pharmacological monograph in China, Shen Nong Ben Cao Jing, said that "long-term use, intellectual man fit and benefiting qi".
Character: Rectangular, square or D-shaped. Dark brown, shiny. Hard and brittle, with bright section, brown fragments and translucent to light. Slight breath, slightly sweet taste.
Indications: nourishing blood and yin, moistening dryness and stopping bleeding. Used for blood deficiency and chlorosis, dizziness, palpitation and restlessness, lung dryness and cough.
Usage and dosage: 3-9g after melting.
Precautions:
1. Avoid greasy food.
2. Use with caution those with spleen and stomach weakness, vomiting and diarrhea, abdominal distension and loose stool, and cough with excessive phlegm.
3. Patients with cold should not take it.
4. Pregnant women, patients with hypertension and diabetes should take it under the guidance of a doctor.
