Tempering caused by too large a proportion of air in the gas mixture when using a pot helmet gas stove. Tempering caused by a larger amount of air, i.e., too large a damper.
Solution: the fire should be turned down, the damper should be adjusted, and the hose should be checked to see if it is cracked, if it is cracked it needs to be replaced. If this still can't be solved, replace it with a new one.
