How does Gongju harvest?
Gongju: First, spread the chrysanthemum thinly on the bamboo mat, put it in the drying room and bake it with anthracite or charcoal as fuel. The temperature is controlled between 40 ~ 50℃ during initial drying. When the first round of chrysanthemum is 90% dried, the second round will be dried at 30 ~ 40℃. When the color is dry to milky white, it can be taken out of the drying room and placed in a ventilated and dry place to completely dry it, thus obtaining the product.

The chrysanthemum processed by this method is fragrant and sweet. Bright and white color, less volatile oil loss, better processing quality than dry, smoked and steamed, no sulfide pollution, deeply loved by drug dealers and consumers in Hong Kong, Macao and overseas.

The packaging of tribute chrysanthemum is also very particular: every 0.5 kg is pressed into a rectangular "chrysanthemum brick", with a width of 15 cm, a length of 20 cm and a thickness of 6 cm. Then several layers of kraft paper are used for moisture-proof packaging, placed in wooden cases or bamboo baskets, and sold overseas.
