Soybean disease refers to broad bean disease.

Favismosis is a hemolytic anemia disease caused by congenital enzyme deficiency. Patients lack glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase, which causes acute intravascular hemolytic anemia after eating broad beans or being exposed to broad bean pollen. Symptoms include anorexia, nausea, fatigue, anemia, jaundice, hemoglobinuria, etc. In severe cases, it can lead to renal failure and death from shock. This disease requires avoidance of exposure to broad beans and their products, as well as related genetic counseling and treatment.
