When dividing bulbs, bring as many fibrous roots as possible, which is beneficial to flowering in the same year. Generally, the ball-splitting propagation needs to be carried out every 4 ~ 5 years.

It can also be propagated by cutting bulbs manually.

1. Cross-cut the bulb from the base upward with a sharp knife, and the depth is about 3/4 of the bulb,

2. Then bury the bulb in sand or sphagnum moss, and many small balls can be produced at the incision,

3. Plant separately, and the small balls will bloom after about 3-4 years.

sow, sow immediately after harvest in autumn, grow radicles in that year and germinate in the next spring. Seedlings need to be cultivated for 5 ~ 6 years before flowering.
