Feeding catfish
Catfish is a completely carnivorous fish. When domesticated, it can be fed to small fish such as rice stick, crucian carp, wheat ear fish, carp, loach, shrimp and aquatic insects.
Catfish eat mainly by swallowing, and teeth mainly play a role in preventing prey from escaping. Catfish prey on their sense of smell and four beards because of their poor eyesight.
The suitable water temperature for catfish is 20 ~ 25 degrees. Catfish eat a lot when the weather is hot. Even a catty of catfish larvae can start swallowing crucian carp and carp.
