Method for making taro flower without hemp mouth
Taro is a common food in the market. It grows underground. Generally, taro flowers and taro stalks are edible, but when we cook taro flowers, there will be some hemp, so many people think it has no edible value, but in fact, this hemp can be removed.
If taro does not get numb when cooked, it must be soaked in clear water first, and then simmered slowly with low fire, so that the hemp smell inside will disappear and the taste will be good. The method of making taro flowers is also relatively simple. Peel the taro stem, separate the flower head from the stem, and remove the stamens.
Then wash the flower heads and stems respectively, and wash the flower heads several times. Then break the stems into the same length, cut the flower heads from the middle, put the divided flower heads into a plate, add seasonings such as salt, oil and pepper dipped in water, stir well, and steam in a pot for about 20 minutes.
