Method 1: Paper lily flowers with stems

1. Collect origami materials. This flower requires 2 pieces of 15x15 cm handmade origami paper and tape. Use a piece of paper to make the stem, so you can choose gray or green.

2. Choose a piece of paper to make flowers. With the patterned or colored side facing outward, fold it in half into a triangle, then fold the left and right corners in half into a small triangle, and finally open the small triangle.

3. Fold the petals. Fold the corner of the left triangle upward along the middle crease. This corner will be folded beyond the scope of the original triangle and approximately in line with the top corner. Fold the right corner in the same way, trying to be as symmetrical as possible. Then put the flowers aside first.

4. Place the paper used to fold the flower stems, with the patterned or colored side facing out. Fold it in half and open it, arranging it into a square diamond shape.

5. Fold the right corner toward the middle crease. Align the right edge of the paper with the middle crease, making sure the low ends of the corners are aligned as well. Fold the left side in the same way, and it will look like a kite after folding.

Method 2: Simple paper flowers

1. Take a piece of 15x15 cm craft paper with the pattern facing outward. Fold the two opposite corners in half once, making sure the corners are aligned and the creases are neat. The crease should form an "X" shape.

2. Turn the paper over. First fold it in half left and right, then open it, then fold it in half up and down. Your paper should then be a rectangle.

3. For the open half of the bottom, lightly press the upper left and upper right corners. The middle crease will be raised and the four corners will be stitched at the bottom. It should now form a square diamond shape. Press your square diamond flat to make sure it is symmetrical from side to side.

4. Rotate the diamond 180 degrees, and the open part will reach the top.

5. Fold the left and right bottoms of the diamond toward the middle crease. When folded, it will look like a kite. Turn the diamond over and repeat the previous step.

6. Open the petals. Hold on to the top of the kite.

Use your thumb and forefinger to fold it down about 3/4 of the way, embossing the middle part hard to make the crease more obvious.

7. Place other petals flexibly. Place the petals next to them where you want them to be, gathering the petals next to the stem.

8. Use scissors or flower-toothed scissors to cut the edges into a round or scallop shape. The rounded edges look like pansies and the scalloped ones look like carnations.
