How to make hawthorn strips?
Boil hawthorn and cold water together to turn off the heat. Don't cook for a long time, hawthorn peels easily.
Removing core and pedicle
Put the pulp in a cooking machine, add a little cold water, beat it into a paste, then pour it into a non-stick pan, add sugar and rock sugar. It is best to buy small crystal sugar. Or you can melt the rock sugar in advance, or you can put the melted sugar water and pulp into a cooking machine and beat them together.
Boil it on low heat to form a thick paste.
Brush the hawthorn paste on the oil paper with a brush, the thickness is self-determined, but not too thick.
Bake in the oven at low temperature. I used 120 degrees, and the time can be controlled by myself. I baked for 40 minutes. Time, temperature, and the thickness of brush paste are all determined according to their own actual conditions, and cannot be unified. Just dry the sticky water and it will be like this.
Finally, cut into strips and wrap them with sugar.
This is not wrapped in sugar. If you feel sour, you can wrap it in sugar according to your personal preference.
