Canna introduction
Canna is a perennial herb with a height of1.5m. The whole plant is green and hairless, covered with waxy white powder, and its flowers are solitary or opposite. It is native to tropical America, India, Malay Peninsula and other tropical regions.
Canna is a common ornamental plant in subtropical and tropical regions. It likes warm and abundant sunshine, is not cold-resistant, and has low requirements for soil. It grows best in loose and fertile sandy soil with good drainage, and is also suitable for fertile clay soil.
The suitable growth temperature of canna is 15~30℃. In order to prolong the flowering period, it can be placed in a place with low temperature and no sunshine. The ambient temperature should not be lower than 10℃. When the temperature is higher than 40℃, the canna can be moved to a ventilated and cool place.
