I think there are obvious differences between Anhui fish and Siniperca chuatsi in many ways. Anhui fish are usually crispy pomfret with large scales. Anhui fish generally live in clear water, while Siniperca chuatsi lives in turbid water. Anhui fish has better freshness and taste than mandarin fish. Although Anhui fish and Siniperca chuatsi are both freshwater fish, there are obvious differences in appearance, scale, mouth characteristics, living environment and food sources.
