Audio production steps

Lead: My audio homework is The Time Machine of Mayday. I make audio files by recording, noise sampling, noise reduction and increasing reverberation effect. Let me introduce you to the steps of audio production, hoping to help you!

(1) Before recording, you need to connect the equipment and adjust the volume. This recording uses a microphone with a mobile phone. The cool editor 2000 I use is the Chinese version. First, choose File-New menu command to create a new sound file. A new waveform dialog box will appear, 22050Hz, 16 bit, mono.

Click the red recording button in the lower left corner of Cool Edit 2000 to turn on the telephone audio and start recording. After the recording time is 42 seconds, click the Stop button, and the waveform diagram of the newly recorded file will appear in the waveform display area. To play, click the play button. Finally, select the file-save menu command to save the recorded sound to a WAV file.

⑵ Use amplification tools to reduce noise and adjust the waveform size. Then use the mouse to select the noise part of the sound, and then the selected part turns white. The sample should use the noise part with the smallest amplitude and the straightest sound waveform as far as possible, generally in the place where there is no music signal, which can contain the most basic noise components and is more conducive to improving accuracy. Select the noise reduction/noise reduction command from the effect menu, and the noise reduction dialog box will pop up. Click the noise sampling button, and after a few seconds, the system will record the noise profile in the noise sampling graphic box. Click the Close button in the Noise Reducer dialog box to close the dialog box. Be careful not to press the Cancel button to close the dialog box and return to the system work interface.

Use the horizontal zoom tool to display the entire sound waveform in the waveform display area, and double-click the waveform display area to select the entire waveform. Then open the noise reducer dialog box, and you will see that the noise contour is still there. Press the OK key at this time, and the system will automatically remove the environmental noise. If you find that the useful speech has changed after removing the ambient noise, you can use the Undo tool to cancel the noise reduction operation, and then move the noise reduction level slider in the noise reducer dialog box to the lower point before noise reduction. 2. Add reverberation effect Select the common effector/reverberation command from the effect menu, and the reverberation dialog box will pop up on the screen, as shown in Figure 4.

In this dialog box, you can adjust the parameters to achieve the desired effect, or you can select some preset simulated reverberation effects in the preset box. I chose the vocal-natural reverberation effect.
