1. The wave-absorbing floating body consists of a box or a floating row with a certain draft. The box body and the floating row are connected by an anchor chain with one end fixed on the seabed and floating on the water surface.
2. The principle of wave elimination is to use the floating body to prevent the wave from spreading or breaking, float up and down and swing back and forth under the action of the wave, interfere with the movement of the water quality point of the wave, and destroy the water flow structure inside the wave, thus achieving the purpose of reducing the wave energy. The advantage of floating breakwater is that the construction is not affected by foundation and water depth.
3. The construction is rapid, easy to dismantle, and the cost is less affected by the water depth. Its disadvantages are complicated anchoring equipment and poor reliability. After a period of wave action, it is easy to anchor, and sometimes even the anchor chain is pulled off, and the box or floating row is damaged due to collision. At present, it is mostly used for temporary protection of local waters, but it has not been widely used.
