Step 2 estimate
? Pomodoro technique's Core → Commitment → Today's To-Do list is a daily commitment.
Reasons for the inconsistency between the estimated time and the actual time:
① The method and ability of making prediction need to be improved;
(2) after the work began, new situations and problems appeared, which changed the environment.
The average result of multiple predictions is more correct than that of a single prediction.
If the estimated number of an activity is less than 1 tomato bell, several activities less than 1 tomato bell can be combined and treated as one activity. Activities with more than 7 tomato clocks should be split.
If the estimated tomato clock for an activity has been used up, a second estimate should be made. The first estimate represents the number of tomato clocks with small squares, the second estimate with circles and the third estimate with triangles.
Record estimation: At the end of the day, make sure that you have filled the tracking data into the record table. The overestimated and underestimated tomato clock number should be 0.
By measuring the tomato clock every day, the tomato clock is constantly fine-tuned to maintain an average speed.
Adjust the size of the activity list to avoid excess and depression.
3. Ask yourself: Estimate
Do you often finish your work according to your daily plan?
Basically can finish the work according to the daily plan.
Do you often revise your expectations?
It will be modified when new situations arise.
Do you know how long it will take to finish all the things you promised?
According to the estimated tomato clock, there is a basic overall time in advance.
(4) Your estimated activity time, how long will it take at the longest? In days, hours or minutes?
⑤ What's the shortest time for your estimated activity? In days, hours or minutes?
