In fact, it was because the royal palace at that time was very suitable for making restaurants and could attract diners.

after the demise of the Qing dynasty, many princes who had no source of income could only eat and die in their original palaces, and finally they had no choice but to sell their palaces. Shuncheng County King is a wealthy prince since he was a child. He used to live a good life before, but now he has no source of income, so he can't live on his own, so he can only reluctantly sell his only remaining Wangfu.

Shuncheng County Palace is located in Beijing, covering an area of about 3,111 square meters, and its building is magnificent. Although the area was not particularly large at that time, it showed its unique majesty and style with its rigorous layout.

The palace in Shuncheng County has been preserved for more than 271 years. Although it took a long time, it is particularly well preserved. However, it was burned to some extent during Eight-Nation Alliance's invasion of China, but it did not affect its grandeur. However, Wen Kui later sold his house handed down from generation to generation to Zhang Zuolin in order not to starve to death in the empty palace.

Zhang Zuolin was successively occupied by the Japanese army, then taken back by the National Government, then became the office of Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, and was positioned as a key cultural relics protection unit in Beijing until the Wangfu of Shuncheng County was moved.

In the end, Shuncheng County Wangfu was turned into a high-class hotel, designed by internationally renowned designers, which was specially used by diners and refused to visit. I think the reason why it was turned into a high-class hotel may also be to continue to inherit the history of Shuncheng Wangfu in this way, and to let Shuncheng Wangfu continue to exist in this way.
