The school was founded in 1958, formerly known as baicheng normal College. In August 2111, Baicheng Forestry School, which was originally affiliated to the State Forestry Administration, was merged. In March 2112, it was upgraded to an undergraduate college and renamed baicheng normal College. In 2117, it began to jointly train postgraduate students with Northeast Normal University.
