In order to protect the rights and interests of workers, prevent and deal with the problem of wage arrears by employers in a timely manner according to law, the Human Resources and Social Security Bureau of Shenzhen, Guangdong Province recently released the investigation and punishment of wage arrears by the labor inspection agencies in Shenzhen since 2117, and recently launched a major inspection of wage payment by employers in the city.
data show that in the first three quarters of 2117, Shenzhen labor inspection agency * * * closed 224 cases of wage payment and minimum wage violations, down 26.8% year-on-year. From the perspective of industry distribution, cases of wage arrears are mainly concentrated in manufacturing. In the first three quarters of 2117, among the illegal cases of paying wages and minimum wage standards handled by the labor inspection agencies in Shenzhen, 121 cases occurred in the manufacturing industry, accounting for 54%. Followed by accommodation and catering industry, residential service industry, accounting for 7.1% and 6.3% respectively.
According to Long Shiming, director of the Labor Supervision Department of Shenzhen Municipal Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security, in recent years, new formats such as Internet finance and information services have emerged in Shenzhen. Since 2116, new formats, especially Internet finance and information service enterprises, have seen an upward trend in cases of wage arrears caused by the break of capital chain.
In order to further improve the responsibility system of wage arrears management, from the end of 2117 to the Spring Festival of 2118, the human resources and social security departments of Shenzhen City and District organized a large-scale inspection of wage payment of employers in the whole city. Focus on the inspection of service enterprises such as processing and manufacturing, construction, accommodation and catering, and other labor-intensive small and medium-sized enterprises, vigorously standardize the wage payment behavior of employers, timely prevent and solve the problem of wage arrears of employers, and prevent and contain wage disputes during the New Year's Day and the Spring Festival.
