For expired food found in catering, food raw materials (including seasonings) beyond the shelf life are found in restaurants, and it can be found that they have been used to make new foods (finished products and food raw materials) or are being used but not yet made into new foods (finished products and food raw materials).
According to Item (3) of Article 34 of the Food Safety Law, "It is forbidden to produce and operate the following foods, food additives and food-related products: foods and food additives produced with food raw materials and food additives that have exceeded the shelf life", penalties should be imposed for operating foods produced with food raw materials that have exceeded the shelf life.
