I am a student of Grade 09. I think the amount of living expenses mainly depends on how you spend money. Shengda students spend 300 yuan a month, and one or two thousand is not enough. Let's just say, take Longhu Restaurant as an example, rice costs 50 cents each; Noodles generally range from 3.5 yuan to 5 yuan, and some are more expensive; Cake is generally 1 yuan to two yuan; Food prices have gone up. Usually 2 yuan. Vegetarian food is cheaper and meat is more expensive. The food in the staff canteen is delicious, but the food in the southern canteen is more affordable. Longhu Restaurant and North Dining Hall are close to the teaching building. The food is more expensive than South Dining Hall, but they eat the same thing. You can work out how much money you can spend. Shengda can work and study, but the salary given by the school is not high, so it seems difficult to apply. As for software engineering, I don't know much about it.
