According to the announcement issued by Guangdong Provincial Department of Transportation, Yangxin expressway maoming port Branch Line started construction in April 2023, with a construction period of 4 years. This project started at the junction of Pingshan Town, Guding. The connecting line from Yangchun to Xinyi expressway runs north-south, and the end point is along Fengdong Hub of expressway Bohe Port Branch Line in Dianbai District. The total length of the route is about 36.8 kilometers, which seems to adopt the two-way four-lane high-speed standard. Speed 100 km/h, subgrade width 28 meters, total investment estimated at 5.83 billion. The whole line is mostly mountainous and hilly, with little construction. There are 4 interchanges (including 2 hubs and 2 entrances and exits) on the whole line, and 1 hub and 1 service area are reserved.
