The characteristics of Hefang Street
Hefang Street is a historical and cultural block in Hangzhou. The most influential places in this street are Hu Xueyan's former residence and Zhu Bingren Bronze Carving Art Museum, which have become a highlight of this street. Hefang Street, located at the foot of Wu Shan, is a part of Qinghefang, which belongs to the old city of Hangzhou. It starts from Jiangcheng Road in the east and crosses Jianguo South Road, Zhonghe Middle Road, Zhongshan Middle Road, Huaguang Road and Laodong Road to Nanshan Road in the north-south direction in the west. The road length is 1.800 meters, and the section from Wushan Square to Zhongshan Middle Road is a pedestrian street.
Bluestone pavement, road width 13m, other 32m. The "Four Corners of Qinghefang", which used to intersect with Zhongshan Road, has become a well-known area since the Republic of China, with Kong Fengchunxiang Powder Shop, Midachang Dry Cigarette Shop, Wanlong Ham Shop and Zhang Yun Shengmaozhuang each occupying a corner. Hang Cheng's famous "Five Hangs", namely Hangfen, Hang Jian, Hangfan, Hangyan and Hangxian, are based on this.
