People's Republic of China (PRC) Wildlife Protection Law Article 2 This law is applicable to wildlife protection and related activities in People's Republic of China (PRC) and other sea areas under its jurisdiction. The wild animals protected by this Law refer to precious and endangered terrestrial and aquatic wild animals and terrestrial wild animals with important ecological, scientific and social values. Wild animals and their products mentioned in this Law refer to the whole (including eggs), parts and derivatives of wild animals. The protection of aquatic wild animals other than rare and endangered aquatic wild animals shall be governed by the Fisheries Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) and other relevant laws.
