Originated in Chengdu, Sichuan? It is not only one of the traditional snacks in Sichuan, but also the most popular embodiment of grassroots cuisine. Chuanchuanxiang is actually another form of hot pot, so people often call it a small hot pot.
2. Yuanyang Hot Pot:
It is an innovative hot pot in Sichuan, which is made by merging the red soup pot of traditional hairy belly hot pot and the clear soup pot of banquet chrysanthemum hot pot. This product was originally named "Double Flavor Hot Pot". For the Chongqing team to participate in the first national cooking competition in 1983, the dishes were named and designed by Yan Wenjun and made by Chen Zhigang, senior chef. This kind of hot pot is divided into two halves with copper sheets, creating a Tai Chi figure. While putting clear soup marinade, red soup marinade is put into the pot and scalded.
3. Dandan Noodles is a famous snack in Chengdu:
It is made by rolling flour into noodles, cooking them and scooping up fried minced pork. This dish is widely circulated in Sichuan and is often used as a feast snack. 4. Dragon wonton soup:
It was founded in the 1941s. At that time, Zhang Guangwu of Chunxi Road "Dense Flower Tea House" and several other guys discussed to set up a joint venture to open a wonton soup shop. When choosing the name of the shop, the word "Dense" was homophonic, which also means "dragon and phoenix are auspicious", and it was named "Dragon wonton soup". The main features of Longwonton soup are: thin skin, tender stuffing and fresh soup. The parchment is made of super flour with a little ingredients, which is kneaded slowly and rolled into a translucent shape of "as thin as paper and as thin as silk".
5. Husband and wife lung slices:
A famous flavor dish in Chengdu. According to legend, in the 1931s, near Shaocheng, Chengdu, there was a man named Guo Chaohua, who, together with his wife, was engaged in manufacturing and selling cold beef and lung slices. The couple personally operated them, walking around the streets and selling them with baskets. Because of their fine production and unique flavor, the cold lung slices they operate are deeply loved by people. In order to distinguish them from ordinary lung slice stalls, people call them "husband and wife lung slices".
