Shanghai Chedun Film and Television Base

Shanghai Chedun Film and Television Base, also known as Shanghai Film and Television Paradise, is one of the top ten film and television bases in China. Shanghai Film and Television Amusement Park has the street style of old Shanghai, the behind-the-scenes secrets of filming, and the European standard courtyard. There are "Song Ziwen's former residence" and "Arts and Crafts College" on Fenyang Road. The features of old Shanghai are one of its characteristics. Most of the domestic TV dramas telling the story of Shanghai were filmed here. Among them, the most famous ones are Deep Rain, Lust, Caution, New Shanghai Beach, Love in the Whole City, Jin Daban, Dancing with the Wolf, PiaoShuai, XiongXiong and so on.

Shanghai Film and Television Paradise (Shanghai Film and Television Shooting Base) invested and built by Shanghai Film (Group) Co., Ltd. integrates film and television shooting, tourism and cultural communication. It is composed of Nanjing Road, Nanjing West Road in 1931s, Shikumen Lane in Shanghai, Shanghai Old Town, European-style buildings, Suzhou Creek Port Area, moller villa, Church, Peace Square, Zhejiang Road Steel Bridge and Lake Mountain Area, and large-scale combined studios, clothing warehouses, props warehouses and scenic spots. There are also circular trams, "Shanghai Film Service Road Exhibition Hall", "Shooting and Watching" and other entertainment projects.

Shanghai Movie Park has a total area of 433,111 m2, with a total planned building area of 129,891 m2, including 48,111 m2 built and 81,891 m2 expanded.

The second phase expansion plan of the park is under way. After the expansion, the film and television amusement park will still focus on film and television shooting, and the functions of tourism, leisure and vacation, business meeting, catering and accommodation will be moderately increased. The overall design adheres to the principle of "Old Shanghai" theme, absorbing beneficial elements from Shanghai's history, culture and people as much as possible, and increasing the details of scenic spots. The function of shooting and the function of tourism, leisure and entertainment are appropriately divided, and natural and reasonable "boundaries" are set by using buildings, greening, water systems and roads, which are separated and infiltrated with each other, so as to guide the flow of customers with different needs in an orderly manner. The shooting scenes include churches, schools, hospitals, railway stations and docks.
