The "Measures" stipulate that all citizens should make up their holidays on working days if they fall on Saturday and Sunday. If some citizens have a holiday on Saturday and Sunday, they will not be compensated. The Regulations on Paid Annual Leave for Employees has been adopted in the State Council, and was promulgated on June 1 day, 2006, and will come into force on June 1 day, 2008.
