In 1326 (the third year of the Yuan Dynasty), Tianfei Lingci Palace was built and an official festival was held. This is where the brewing technology of Dazhigu Yijuyong started.
After the lifting of the sea ban during the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty, sorghum and beans and wheat from Liaodong and Shanxi brought unprecedented prosperity to the Dazhigu liquor industry.
After the opening of the port of Tianjin in 1860, Dazhigu yakubo produced a large number of Rose Dew, Wuga Pi and Gao Grain Wine, which began to be exported overseas.
Before and after 1880, in Dazhigu started Yi Juiyong hot pot, Yi Juiyong family member Liu Xin brewed a new generation of Rose Dew, Wuga Pi and high-grain wine, so that the Yi Juiyong hot pot since then, the reputation of the revitalization.
After the Eight-Power Allied Forces burned down Dazhigu in 1900, Yijuyong initiated the reconstruction of Dazhigu as the representative of Dazhigu yakitori.
In 1920, Liu Xin's eldest son, Liu Xiangjiu, succeeded as manager of Yijuyong, and once again technologically modified the Rose Dew and Wugapi wines to form a unique style.
In 1927, Yijuyong registered the trademark of Theo Golden Star in Nanyang, taking the lead in opening up the Nanyang market and exporting the wines all over the world;
In 1931, Yijuyong registered the trademark of Golden Star in Hong Kong with an English logo.
In 1934, the Tianjin Chamber of Commerce organized Yijuyong and other famous national enterprises to participate in the National Products Exhibition in the capital and the Chicago Fair.
In 1956, the public-private partnership was implemented, and ten private Dazhigu breweries, namely Yijuyong, Yifengyong, Tongjuyong, Guangjuyong, Tongfengchong, Yuqingyong, Yongfengyu, Yufengyong, Guangxingju, and Chuntaiyong, were merged into the Tianjin Branch of China Foodstuffs Export Corporation, which was the predecessor of Tianjin Foodstuffs Import & Export Co.
In March 1985, Golden Star Rose Dew won the Golden Laurel Award from the French International Committee of Gastronomy and Tourism.
In April 1985, Golden Star Rose Dew was awarded the Gold Medal of Quality in the Fourth International Alcohol and Beverage Competition in Spain.
October 1986, Golden Star Rose Wine won the Gold Medal at the 12th International Gourmet Exposition in Paris, France.
In August 1994, Tianjin Chinese Wine & Beverage Co., Ltd. was established as a joint venture between Tianjin Foodstuffs Import & Export Corporation, Hong Kong Chinese Wine & Spirits Company and Tianjin Foreign Trade Foodstuffs Hengfeng Company.
On December 19, 2006, Theo Gold Star Brand was awarded the only Theo Chinese Old Brand in the Tianjin liquor industry by the Ministry of Commerce of the State Council.
On January 31, 2007, Tianjin Chinese Wine & Spirits Co., Ltd. changed its name to Tianjin Yijuyong Wine & Spirits Brewing Co.
