Xi Xianyang International Airport is located in the inland center of China, between the beautiful and rich eight hundred miles of Qinchuan, on the Weibei Loess Plateau. The airport is located in the northwest of Xi City and the northeast of Xianyang City, 47km away from the center of Xi City, and 0/3 km away from Xianyang/KLOC-via the airport dedicated line. The airport covers an area of 564 hectares, with flat terrain, wide field of vision and good clearance. It is a 4E first-class civil airport. The airport terminal covers an area of 6,543,800 square meters, with a runway length of 3,000 meters, which can accommodate passenger planes below 747-400 and cargo planes below A 124. It is one of the main trunk airports in China, an international scheduled airport, one of the top ten airports in China and one of the eight hub airports planned by the Civil Aviation Administration of China.
