Wuyi county is located in the southwest of Jinhua city. East longitude119 27' ~119 38', north latitude 28 32' ~ 29 03'. It is adjacent to Yongkang City and Jinyun County in the east, Suichang County and Songyang County in the west, Yiwu City, Jindong District and Wucheng District in the north and Lishui City in the south. County People's Government is located in Hushan Street, 28.5 kilometers away from Jinhua City. Area 1.577 km2, population 337,400. Besides the Han nationality, there are She, Hui, Tibetan, Miao, Zhuang, Man, Dong and Bai ethnic minorities. It has jurisdiction over 3 streets and 15 townships, including community neighborhood committees 15 and 546 villagers' committees. Analysis of the second year of Tang Dynasty (AD 69 1); Yongkang Western Territory originally belonged to Wuyi County and Wu Li area. It is said that when Wu Zetian was in power, all the newly established counties were crowned with the word "Wu". Wuyi County is named because there is Baiyishan in the east of the county.
